IGNITED MINDS INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION 11.07.2019 – 12.07.2019

The Vanamahotsav celebration heralded the new edition of Ignited Minds – a mega platform for participants to prove their passion in scientific innovation, Music, Elocution, Sports, Dramatics, Poem Recitation and many more courtesy Jubilee Hills Public School. A total of 35 schools with around 2800 students, participated in the events held on 11th and 12th of July, 2019. The sports teams marched as the dignitaries acknowledged the salute.

The Chairman, Jubilee Hills Public School, Sri A. Murali Mukund graced the occasion with his august presence and declared the event ‘open’. The Principal, Ms. M .Varalakshmi, welcomed the gathering. She enlightened the young minds about the need to remain ‘Ignited’…the constant urge to innovate or discover something new being the motto of the competition. The two day semination of learning and competition was immensely successful. The guest schools loved the format and were touched by the indulgent hospitality at Jubilee Hills Public School.

The themes related to conservation of environment, governance, women empowerment, freedom struggle were popular choices. Radiant costumes, meaningful songs, unique choreography and the competitive spirit kept the excitement running high. The competition was close and the judges did a remarkable job with great patience. Winning and losing did not matter much as students got a chance to learn from and appreciate the best performer. Catering to the need of a holistic education, the performances and competitions certainly added newer feathers to every cap. The event may be over but the legacy continues.
