INTACH Film Fest

INTACH Hyderabad, the Indian National trust for Art and Cultural Heritage has initiated a multi-cultural project to create awareness among students for preserving the Indian Heritage and Culture, the natural legacy of India by giving a platform to the young generation to showcase their talent through ‘Filmit India Film Festival’.

The Award ceremony took place at Jubilee Hills Public School, on 17th February, 2017, with the schools sharing their enriching experience on making and sharing films. The project has uploaded more than 3000 films on the website.

The Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi said that JHPS was happy to host the programme and welcomed all the participating schools. She stated that this project would help the future generations to remember and cherish their roots. She wished the participants all the best.

Mr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Mr. Anurag Singh, Pulkita Parsai and other dignitaries graced the occasion. Jubilee Hills Public School was awarded the ‘Best Narration Award’ for ‘Lost Glory of Ancient India’ a film made by the students. The other schools also were awarded for their best movies in different categories.
