Jubilee Hills Public School conducted the Annual PTA meeting on 26th July for classes LKG to XII. The programme started with a prayer to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. The Principal Ms.M.Varalakshmi welcomed the parents and apprised them with an overview of the school development, activities, facilities and the CBSE results of classes X and XII. She emphasized on the main objective of the PTA meeting, i.e. to collaborate and be committed towards the child with strong parenting. She requested the parents to come out with the suggestions for the development of the child and the school.
Ms. G. Sree Devi, the Academic Director came up with the latest trend in teaching, i.e. to teach less and learn more through lot of activities. The goal of education is to shape the global citizens of the future by adapting and catering to the varied needs of the students. She also mentioned that parents are the partners in their child’s learning, and with their support and involvement children do much better. She stressed on the point that Success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration, teachers along with parents can inspire students towards achieving their goals.
Ms.Aarthi.T, the Counsellor, felt that the physical, emotional and nutritional well being of the child must be the main focus of parents. She insisted the parents not to encourage the children to buy outside food as it hinders their physical and emotional growth. She requested parents to understand the child psychology and address the issue with professional help as each and every child is unique, beautiful and skilled in their own way.
The Parent Representatives for classes KG to XII were elected and few of them will represent School Managing Committee(SMC), Safety, Grievance, Sanitation, Transport, Discipline and External Competitions Committees for this academic year.

Jubilee Hills Public School celebrated the Investiture Ceremony on 19th July, 2014 in the school premises. The Chief Guest for the day was Sri.S.Gopal Reddy, IPS, Additional DGP & Controller of Legal Meterology, Telangana State. The Chairman Sri A. Murali Mukund, presented a memento and welcomed the Chief Guest. The Vice President of JHES Sri P.Subba Rao graced the occasion.
The programme commenced with the welcome address by the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi. In her address, she said that a leader should follow the 3’Vs’ policy-Vision, Values and Victory. A leader with a Vision imbibed with Values will surely achieve Victory.
The Academic Director, Ms.G Sree Devi, said that the quality of a leader reflects in the standard that they set for themselves. She also said that from now on the responsibilities like organizing school programmes and encouraging fellow students lies on the firm shoulders of the elected leaders. She motivated the leaders to make a positive difference in the students around them.
The Chief Guest pinned badges and administered oath to the newly elected leaders from Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School, Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary, who were elected through electronic voting system.
The Chief Guest in his speech congratulated the newly elected Students Council. He said that Leaders are not born, they are made. He also mentioned that “Education is the mother of leadership”. He asked the newly elected leaders to imbibe the qualities of acceptance, willingness to take risk, ability to lead and develop the team with integrity and vision.
A variety of cultural programmes put up by the students and the speeches by the Head girls and Head boys motivated the newly elected members to take up their task with zeal and enthusiasm.

Vanmahotsav is an annual tree-planting festival in India, celebrated on 5 June and even in the first week of July. Esteemed guests and Chief Guest Mr. Jalapathy Rao were welcomed by our students counsel with saplings.
Head of Science Department Ms. Lavanya welcomed the gathering.
Academic director Ms. G sreedevi and Principal Ms. M. Varalakshmi shared their views on this occassion. Roshni of class 10 E gave a speech about trees and their importance. Chief Guest had spoken about the present generation and the importance of saving trees for their future. Chief guest was presented with a momento by Chairman Shri A, Murali Mukund. Fourth and fifth class students sang a song on the significance of trees. The program was followed by an action drama by preprimary students which was appreciated. Next was an action song on” planting trees”. There was a skit on the consequences of urbanization and deforestation through the skit “save plants” by class 6 and 7. The dance “Yeh hawa, yeh zameen, yeh aasman” was related to environment. A mime on inhuman activities was depicted well by class 9 students.Last but not the least, 11 and 12th graders had contributed to vanamahotsav with a skit which was an eye opener. School head girl Bhavya Singh to propose vote of thanks.
