Jubilee Hills Public School showcased the skill and talent of each and every student of class IV through a spectacular show “Incredible India” based on the cultural diversity of India. The Academic Director Ms G.Sreedevi welcomed the parents and mentioned that this programme is to refresh the memories of the patriots who sacrificed their lives for the nation and pay gratitude to the great people . The performance of children to show “Unity in Diversity” was exemplary. The tradition of nine different states was portrayed in the form of songs and dances. The talent of children shown in “The Brave Warriors”, “Remembering my Motherland and Eternal Patriotism” has taken the audience to the days of freedom struggle.
The parents appreciated the effort put in by the teachers and thanked the management for giving an opportunity to students to perform.
The Principal Ms.M.Varalakshmi appreciated the children for their extraordinary performance and appreciated the teachers and parents for the support extended.

Jubilee Hills Public School added another feather to its cap by winning yet another award for the project ‘Use of ICT in School Management System’ presented by ‘Digital LEARNING Magazine’. The World Education Summit 2015, had Education Policy Makers, Ministers, Secretaries and Principals join for discussions, debates and deliberations under one roof. The Summit was an opportunity to showcase and learn the best practices in teaching, learning and training, the use of ICT in School Management, the role of Preschools in today’s education system. The highlight was the power session by the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodia, on the importance of Skill Development Education so that today’s youth is employed and self- sufficient.

Independence Day is a National Festival celebrated every year on 15th of August. It is a day of great significance for the people of India. On this day India got freedom from the British rule after long years of slavery. It was not so easy for India to get freedom from the Britishers, however various great freedom fighters of India made it a reality for us. They sacrificed their lives in attaining freedom for their future generations without worrying about their comfort, rest and freedom.
On this day, Jubilee Hills Public School remembered the great warriors and their sacrifices by celebrating Independence Day in the school Premises. The Chief Guest Sri. A. Murali Mukund , Chairman, Jubilee Hills Public School and Secretary, Jubilee Hills Education Society unfurled the National Flag. The members of the Managing Committee, staff, parents, students and alumni joined him in paying tribute to our National Leaders.
The Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, said that the need of the hour is to move from developing to a developed nation and asked the students to strive for the same.
The Academic Director, Ms. G. Sreedevi, said that India has the power, knowledge and capability to guide the world. Today freedom means to innovate, to create and bring laurels to ourselves and our country.
The Senior Head Boy, Siddanth Mathur said that as a young man of the 21st century, and citizen of india, he would like to bring about changes in the country which would help in its progress and prosperity.
The cultural programmes brought about a feeling of patriotism among the audience. The children performed a skit on ‘Alluri Sitarama Raju,’ the Great patriot of India. A message “one’s love towards one’s country” was clearly extended by the students with their mesmerising performance.
The Chief Guest, Sri A. Murali Mukund gave away certificates to the students who strived successfully for 100% attendance during the academic year 2015-16. The students were also conferred with awards for best exhibits of the Science Exhibition 2015-16. The school’s newly constituted Kalam Quiz Club named in honour of Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam had conducted an Independence Day Quiz and prizes were given to the students by the Chief Guest. In his speech, he said that India has all the resources required for progress. He asked the students to become dedicated leaders and take India to a better position.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Senior Secondary Head Girl, Vinitha Swaraj.

An Educational field trip to Fire Station located at Film Nagar and Axis Bank was organized by Jubilee Hills Public School for the students of Class I in order to give them a practical experience of the activities performed by the Firemen. This was done to make them understand the safety measures to be taken during the fire accidents and the team work involved. The field trip was a realistic experience both to the students and the teachers too. Children were delighted seeing the firemen in their uniform and excited with the tasks they performed using the equipment such as the fire siren, hosepipe, foam gun, life jackets, fire extinguishers etc. They could identify the fire extinguisher they have seen in the school corridors and their buses. Students were overjoyed and energized when they got the opportunity to use some of the equipments and climbing the fire engine. Firemen also demonstrated how to come out of a building which caught fire and usage of CO2 cylinders. They all shouted in joy when they heard the sudden fire siren. They were educated that they need to dial 101 for the fire station. They left after shaking their hands with the firemen as well as thanked the Fire Station officer.
On 11th August 2015, they were taken to Axis Bank, Jubilee Hills in order to give them a practical exposure to the various activities performed at the bank. This was helped them understand about the usage of computer for various transactions processed and the team work involved. The students thanked the Manager of Axis bank. The field trip was a fascinating experience for the students. Children enjoyed viewing the transactions done in ATM and the Bank staff executive explained about the functioning of money depositing machine.

An internship provides experiential learning that integrates knowledge and development of practical application skills.
A team of four American interns Ms. Hillerin, Ms. Arion Adams, Ashley Sheets and Ms. Lori from the USA, Illiois University visited our school in the month of August as a part of their teacher training program.
These trainees shadowed the teachers and observed their teaching methodology for two days. i.e. 3rd and 4th August, 2015. As trainees they observed the regular teaching, techniques, formative activities, black board presentation and the use of technology in the teaching– learning process. The team of teacher trainees appreciated the usage of technology and activity oriented teaching.
