Jubilee Hills Public School celebrated its Annual day function in the school premises on 28th November. Sri. Anjani Kumar, IPS Additional Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Hyderabad was the Chief Guest for the day. He was accorded a warm welcome by the Managing Committee members, the Principal and the student council. The programme started with the Swagatham song.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Sri. Anjani Kumar said that the students who are the future of the country have tremendous potential and an ocean of energy and asked them to direct this energy in the right direction. He asked the students to make their family, neighborhood, school and country proud.
The Principal Ms. M. Varalakshmi welcomed the gathering and spoke about the school’s academic and sports achievements. She further added that the motto of the institution is not only to excel in academics but also to provide a platform for the students to rise to their potential on all fronts – curricular and co-curricular.
The Secretary of Jubilee Hills Education Society and Chairman of Jubilee Hills Public School Sri A. Murali Mukund in his speech said that it was because of the relentless efforts of the management, parents and teachers that the school has touched the pinnacle of glory.
The Academic Director Ms. G. Sree Devi addressed the gathering and spoke about the various awards being given to the students. She congratulated the winners.
The awards like School Topper awards (AISSE & AISSCE), Subject topper awards, were given away by the Chief Guest to the outstanding students to acknowledge their achievements.
The President Sri K. Krishnadev Rao gave away Best All-rounder award, Special Student award and Special Talent awards.
The Chairman Sri A. Murali Mukund gave away the School General Proficiency awards. Prizes were also given to the teachers who had 100% attendance during the academic year.
The cultural programmes enthralled the audience. The melodious music, dances and skits mesmerized the audience. The function was attended by the managing committee members, parents, alumni, people from press and media and other dignitaries.
The vote of thanks was proposed and the programme ended with the National Anthem.

‘The Constitution Day’ was celebrated on 26th November, 2015 as per CBSE directive. The Constitution of India is the supreme law of India.Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was the principle architect of the Constitution of the India. It was adopted on 26th November, 1949 but came into effect on 26th January, 1950.
The Principal Ms M. Varalakshmi administered the oath, the Preamble of India to the students. The school organized a ‘Poster Making’ competition for the students to mark the occasion.

Competitions bring out the best in a person. ‘Talent Hunt’ competitions were organized from November 6th to 9th 2015 in the school premises in order to develop further the inborn qualities of students. Competitions like Recitation, Extempore, Quiz, Essay Writing, Debate, Painting and Solo Singing were organized.
The first round of competition was conducted on 16th and 17th July, 2015. A total of 1403 students from Primary and 1163 from Secondary participated in the competitions. 309 students were selected for the final round from Primary and 245 students were selected for the final round from Secondary and Senior Secondary. The winners received the prizes from the President Sri K. Krishnadev Rao and the Joint Secretary Sri T. Harischandra Prasad.
