Jubilee Hills Public School inaugurated its new branch situated at Rampally, Keesara Mandal on 27th April, 2016.
The Chairman, JHPS and Secretary JHES, Sri. A. Murali Mukund, the Chairman, JHPS, Rampally, Prof.Y.V.U. Varma, the Joint Secretary, Sri T. Harischandra Prasad, member of the managing committee, Sri M. Krishna Murthy graced the occasion.
After 30 valuable yrs of experience in the field of education, the educationists have started the new branch with CBSE syllabus. It is situated in 6 acres of verdant surroundings with sprawling campus and spacious classrooms. The aim is to impart traditional & quality education with modern teaching facilities and e-education system. JHPS, Jubilee Hills was started in the year 1986 by educationists and industrialists to impart traditional & value education with modern teaching facilities and e-education system.
In these 3 decades it has made its mark in the educational field by achieving 1st Rank at National and International levels. The school has also won many prestigious awards. The school follows traditional method of teaching complemented with E- Methodology. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and latest content Soft ware to make teaching and learning suitable to all the students. The inauguration of new branch is indeed a great achievement in the history of Jubilee Hills Education Society.

A couple of sessions on ‘Zumba Fitness’ were organized in the school for the teachers to be fit & healthy. ‘Zumba’ is an Italian dance form which was invented by ‘Beto Perez’. It is designed for all the fitness moves. The instructors Mr. Naveen & Ms. Jyoti Puli from NJ Fitness taught rhythmic movements to the teachers. The teachers really worked out during the sessions.

A Workshop for all teachers on ‘Creativity’ was conducted by Michel Sohel, Creativity & Innovation Consultant & President, Maarij Web Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. on 19th April in the school premises.
‘Creativity’ means the capacity within individuals to think of new ideas and make new things. He spoke about one’s pattern of thinking and learning. He said that creative development happens when the input is processed and a new output is created from it. The capacity to create output in the child, skills like writing, expressing & drawing should be developed.
The Latent Creativity in students has to be brought forth and the capacity to think ‘out of the box’ so that the lateral thinking capacity can be used to develop innovative ideas and design, present and implement them. This will help them manage tough situations in their lives. He advised teachers to stimulate creativity and teach which is possible through strategies like Collaborative learning, Interactive Teaching, Problem Based Learning as well as by visiting Public places.

The Orientation Programme for Class VI parents started with the prayer on 7th April, 2016. The Principal Ms.M.Varalakshmi addressed the gathering. She spoke about the behavioural changes that occur as the students step into the Secondary Level from the Primary and told the parents to monitor their child’s technology usage. The Academic Director, Ms.G.Sreedevi spoke about Child sexual abuse and how parents need to make the children aware of good touch and bad touch. She also spoke about the awareness given to the girls and boys separately regarding the physical changes that occur in them. Parents to take care of their children not only academically but also behaviour wise. The Academic Coordinator, Ms. Suneeta Roopchand spoke about the CCE pattern, marks allotment in Formative and Summative Assessments, the emotional and behavior changes that occur in students and suggested the parents to work closely with the school for the betterment of the child. The counselor, Ms.Soghra spoke regarding the learning support and care given in our school for children who are slow learners. Feedback from the parents was collected. Later on, the programme was followed by a question answer session with parents.
Many parents were happy with the awareness rendered to them by the school and appreciated the initiative. They also clarified their doubts regarding the Assessments conducted in the school pertaining to CCE Pattern. They suggested that more importance to application based learning should be given. The programme ended with the Vote of Thanks.

Jubilee Hills Public School conducted an Orientation Programme for parents of Class I on Wednesday 6th April, 2016. The Academic Director, Ms G Sree Devi, addressed the gathering and said that “A child is best served if a parent crosses the threshold of school”. She emphasized on shaping the lives of global citizens of the future by interacting with the teachers of their child and becoming a part of same team.
The Primary Headmistress, Ms.Sonia Nagpal presented Power Point Presentation on the Teaching Learning Process and emphasized on Scholastic, Co-Scholastic areas, and assessment process which will be followed during the academic session.
The Counselor, Ms.Soghra, gave an overview of the learning difficulties and she discussed the same by showing the “Indicators List of Dyslexia ”.She also explained the referral process to the parents. Parents were happy to attend the session and said that they look forward to more such informative sessions in the future.
