Jubilee Hills Public School offered a warm and emotional farewell to the students of Class X and XII. The farewell party was celebrated with a lot of zeal and zest. The occasion took the students down the memory lane into the most cherishing moments of school life. Speaking on this occasion, the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi asked the students to be brave enough to face the challenges of the new and competitive world in order to reach their goal.
The Academic Director, Ms. G. Sree Devi in her speech, asked the students to remember the values instilled by the school, develop self confidence, focus on their goal and move ahead. She added that they themselves should carve the path to success, through their hard work.
A variety of cultural programmes were organized for the outgoing students by the juniors. The outgoing students expressed their deep love and gratitude to the teachers. They also shared their memorable moments spent with their classmates. Mr. JHPS title for the Senior Secondary was won by Vignesh and Miss. JHPS by Aparajita Acharya. The Secondary titles for Miss. and Mr. JHPS were bagged by Ariba and Krishna Chaitanya respectively. The outgoing batches were given mementoes as a token of love.

INTACH Hyderabad, the Indian National trust for Art and Cultural Heritage has initiated a multi-cultural project to create awareness among students for preserving the Indian Heritage and Culture, the natural legacy of India by giving a platform to the young generation to showcase their talent through ‘Filmit India Film Festival’.
The Award ceremony took place at Jubilee Hills Public School, on 17th February, 2017, with the schools sharing their enriching experience on making and sharing films. The project has uploaded more than 3000 films on the website.
The Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi said that JHPS was happy to host the programme and welcomed all the participating schools. She stated that this project would help the future generations to remember and cherish their roots. She wished the participants all the best.
Mr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Mr. Anurag Singh, Pulkita Parsai and other dignitaries graced the occasion. Jubilee Hills Public School was awarded the ‘Best Narration Award’ for ‘Lost Glory of Ancient India’ a film made by the students. The other schools also were awarded for their best movies in different categories.

JHPS has once again made a mark for itself in the field of Education by bagging the Prestigious Academic Excellence School Award, 2017 by Brainfeed. Brainfeed is the best online educational magazine. In a survey conducted by the research team, Jubilee Hills Public School was found to be the Best School both in academics as well as in the implementation of ICT. Thus the school was awarded ‘The Best Academic Excellence School and Best ICT Implementation Among Top Telangana Schools’ in commendation of achieving excellence in quality education towards the development of the society.
The award ceremony was organized at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi on 4th February, 2017, Ms. Sonia Nagpal, Primary Headmistress received the award from Mr. Nirav Khambhati, CEO, Tata Classedge on behalf of the school.
