Jubilee Hills Public School has taken a great pride in collaborating with the Government of India to undertake the social cause of eradicating Measles and Congenital Rubella Syndrome (CRS). The MR vaccination campaign took place on 19th September, 2017 at our campus. Around 80 percent of the students were vaccinated by the doctors in order to improve their immunity. Utmost care was taken by the school in dispensing the medicine.

Jubilee Hills Public School celebrated Teacher’s Day, Hindi Divas, Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam and Batukamma on September 4th, 2017 at our premises with great festivity and splendour. The Secretary, Jubilee Hills Education Society, Chairman, Jubilee Hills Public School, Sri. A. Murali Mukund, Principal, Ms. M.Varalakshmi, Academic Director, Ms. G. Sree Devi, Teachers and Students were present on the occasion.
The students love and affection towards their teachers was splendidly shown in the programmes put up by the children. They thanked their teachers for their encouragement and support. The teachers participated in a variety of games with great enthusiasm.
In his address The Chairman Sri. A. Murali Mukund said that teaching is a noble profession and stated that he is proud of the teachers of JHPS for their loyalty, friendliness and their teaching prowess. He also gave away gifts to the winners of various sports events conducted at school on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
Hindi Divas was celebrated to show our respect towards Hindi which was included in the Indian Constitution on 14th September 1949. The programmes put up by the children showed their appreciation towards the language. “Chutkule”, funny anecdotes put up by the children was a highlight.
The first word we learn is from our mother. Mother Tongue plays a prominent role in expressing our views and thought processes. Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam was celebrated in honour of the famous Telangana poet Sri Kaloji Rao. The beauty of the language and its origins were presented through scintillating performances by the children.
Dasara celebrations started early at Jubilee Hills Public School. During Dasara Batukamma is worshipped with great reverence in Telangana. Ladies worship Goddess Gowri and seek her blessing in providing a fruitful life. The teachers and students dressed in traditional finery played Batukamma and sang traditional folk songs.
