Jubilee Hills Public School in collaboration with SPAES, hosted a “leadership Collaboration Programme” to facilitate collaboration between school leaders for enhancing their leadership. 30 schools from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh participated in the event. The Guests of honour were renowned educationist Sri. Chukka Ramaiah and Sri G.V.S.Prasad, Director, CFBT.
Addressing the gathering, Sri. Chukka Ramaiah said that unless good schools help others to replicate the best practices there would be inequality in the society leading to social problems and that is why they had founded the organization SPAES.
The programme was facilitated by SPAES to pair two schools to mentor each other and enable the development of strategies that help both the paired institutions to grow and develop on agreed improvement priorities. The programme started with a tour of the school to see the facilities. The Chairman Sri. A. Murali Mukund in his address congratulated SPAES on their initiative and said that Jubilee Hills Public School would provide all the help necessary for the mentoring and the pairing of schools.
Mr. BrahmamKakani who organized the programme was happy at the turnout and the acceptance by all the members present and hoped that this initiative would help all schools in excelling. The Academic Director, Ms. G. Sree Devi reiterated that Jubilee Hills Public School would open its door to not only share its best practices but also teacher training and development.

Jubliee Hills Public School organized the skills and talents of each and every student of class IVin the school premises on 28th October 2017, by a spectacular show called ‘Udaan- a flight towards change’. The practice for the programme was initiated a month ago, where the children and teachers plan and practice impressed all the viewers by their presentation.
The theme was focused to create awareness about the changes which have happened and are happening in our lives. This programme suggested that changes can be brought about in our lifestyle, education system and our thinking as such in a positive way for better the living. The children showcased Udaan by the three C’s-‘choice,change and chance’ which leads us towards the right direction and the program enlightened the viewers to protect our environment. The pros and cons of the changes which are happening in our country in the fields of education and lifestyle, Carbon foot prints, usage of renewable resources carefully and paper bag, planting more trees, sustainability and gender discrimination was showcased splendidly by the skits, dances, informative interview, poems and debates with fluent dialogue delivery and natural acting.The Chairman, Sri.A.Murali Mukund, the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, Primary Headmistress, Ms. Sonia Nagpal and the parents appreciated and enjoyed the delightful performance which was presented with confidence and team spirit.

Diwali also known as the festival of lights was celebrated in grandeur at Jubilee Hills Public School. The celebrations started with the Lakshmi Puja. Diwali is celebrated to honour the triumph of good over evil. The significance of the festival was portrayed in a beautiful skit depicting Lord Krishna’s victory over evil Narakasura which was followed by a dance worshiping goddess Lakshmi.
The tiny tots presented their views on safe diwali through slogans. The skits and dances presented by them enthralled the audience. A pledge was taken by the management, entire school and the parents to celebrate a green eco friendly diwali. Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi wished the gathering on the occasion and asked them to have a safe diwali.

Safety of the students has always been the first priority at Jubilee Hills Public School. Taking this ideology a step ahead, a fire drill was conducted successfully at the school involving all the students along with the entire teaching and non-teaching staff.
Firemen from Film Nagar Fire Station headed by Fire station Officer, Mr. D. Mohan Rao demonstrated various safety measures to be taken in case of fire, explained about the evacuation process and also showed various techniques used by them to extinguish different types of fires. Student volunteers along with the firemen also demonstrated measures to be taken in case of any casualty caused due to fire. The session was informative and educational.
