The students of class V showcased a fantastic performance ‘TARANG’ with the theme ‘A LEADER IN ME’ on 1st September, 2018 at Jubilee Hills Public School. The Primary Incharge Headmistress Ms.C.Srilatha, addressed the gathering and briefed about the theme of becoming a good leader with passion, will-power, determination and confidence. She added that leaders are born with leadership qualities within and we need to develop the qualities of leadership in our children to create great leaders.
The entire programme was very well anchored in three languages. The dances, skits, dramas and the role plays were well performed by the students with fluent dialogue delivery and natural acting. These jogged our memories of different leaders like Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Alluri Sitharamaraju, M.S. Dhoni etc., who inspired and made a difference in the society.
The Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, appreciated the students for portraying different types of leaders through the programme. He added that some leaders are self-inspired, some are born and some are made, we being teachers and parents should develop and inculcate the leadership qualities by giving them good education, situations to think logically, present themselves with confidence and to have common sense to deal with the situations they face. The President, Sri K. Krishna Dev Rao, appreciated the children and asked to think about the richest culture India has and suggested the parents and grandparents to involve in their children’s life and imbibe our culture within them. The parents of Class V were overwhelmed with the impressive and thought-provoking performances of their children and carried lots of memories by end of the show.
