To mark the birth of Lord Jesus, Christmas Special Assembly was conducted with great pomp and show at Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School on 22nd December, 2017. The atmosphere was very lively and enthusiastic. The Auditorium was decorated with angels, sledges, reindeers, stars, the Santa and Christmas tree with gifts.
The dignitaries of the school graced the occasion with their presence. The program began with the carols where in our pretty angelic choir mesmerized the audience. This was followed by a series of items like Nativity Play, songs, poems and dances spreading happiness and joy all around.
There is no Christmas without the Santa Claus, the students were over joyed to see a live Santa dancing and jumping with them. The program concluded with the vote of thanks.
We all like fairytales. Sometimes we wish to be a part of that wonderful world. On 25th November 2017, the children of LKG A and B celebrated their Parent Day, “The Paradise” along with Pink Colour Day. The Auditorium was filled with pink flowers, castles, chariots, pictures of prince and princess, Barbie dolls and fairies.
The programme started with a prayer song followed by a welcome dance to the tune ‘Hello Hello’. The series of events that followed were the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’, Fairy dance and dance on song “I am a Barbie girl”. “If I were a fairy” speech left the audience spellbound. The story of Cinderella enacted by the tiny tots was outstanding.
The dignitaries of the school attended the program and were overwhelmed to see the performances of the tiny kids. The program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Master Mustafa.
To commemorate celebrations, the students of U.K.G G and H presented an event on the theme ‘The Jubilation’ on 18th November, 2017 at Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School.
The Chairman, Sri. A. Murali Mukund, the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, the Academic Director, Ms.G.Sree Devi, the Primary and Pre-Primary Headmistress, Ms.Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion. The programme started off with a prayer song to invoke the blessings of God followed by a welcome address by Ms.SoniaNagpal. Later, the gathering was welcomed by Ms. Oss Mahawar from UKG-G.Welcome dance to the tune of ‘Shiva ShivaShankara’ made the traditional feellinger all around. Speeches on celebrations and yellow colour gave an insight into the theme. Family celebrations and celebration of achievements were enacted by the students witha lot of zeal and enthusiasm.Finally, a beautiful and energetic danceperformance to the track of instrumentalmusic was presented by the students.
The Chairman Sri. A. Murali Mukund in his speech appreciated the efforts of the teachers, parents and the students in putting up such a wonderful show. He conveyed that, a second chance should be given to everyone to prove themselves and build up confidence to achieve further. He also stated that, inculcating values at this age would lead to a balanced life. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Master Kaushik from UKG – H.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Grandparents day on 28th October, 2017 with a great pomp and show. The Chairman, Sri.A.Murali Mukund, the Principal Ms.M.Varalakshmi, the Academic Director Ms.G.Sreedevi and Pre-Primary and Primary Headmistress Ms.Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion.
Ms. Sonia Nagpal welcomed the gathering and said that “Grandparents are the essential members of our family and we develop a special bond with them as the days pass by. They are a little bit of parent for us, a little bit of teacher and a little bit of friend. This is the special day to honour them, spend some time and have fun with them”.
The programme started with a prayer song and our students presented various traditional and folk dances to impress their valued mentors. The highlights of the programme were the skits “Eid Ka Tohfa” and “The Ramayana” which were beautifully performed by the kindergarteners.
On this occasion the Academic Director Ms. G.Sreedevi said “Today, this programme proved that, we at JHKS not only focus on academics but also impart human values among children. We go traditional at the same time inculcate the skills necessary to lead their life further”.
The grandparents were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren perform so confidently and this was clearly evident in their feedback given towards the end of the show. It was indeed a happy moment for all of them.
The celebration of Diwali, ‘The festival of lights’ came alive at Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School on 17/10/17 when the whole ambiance wore a festive look and adorned the auditorium in bright colours.
The songs and dances brought out the essence of the festival celebration of life and goodness. Students talked about the significance of the festival. Besides sensitizing the students about the ill effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them, through a power point presentation. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through mesmerizing dance performances and skits depicting “Victory of good over evil”. All the dignitaries, parents, teachers and students took a pledge and promised to celebrate Eco-Friendly Diwali. The effort put in by the students was appreciated by everyone and they enjoyed the festive spirit.
Ganeshotsav was celebrated with a great deal of pomp and fervor at Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School on 24th August, 2017. The atmosphere was very lively and enthusiastic with devotional songs and dances. Puja rituals were observed as a part of the festivity.
Speeches and shlokas on the significance of the festival enlightened the audience. ‘Vishwa Pradakshina’ skit talked about the spiritual and intellectual powers of Lord Ganesha. The whole atmosphere echoed with ‘Ganapathi Bappa Moriya’ and brought in the divine feel all around.

Enriching field trips contribute to the overall development of students. To provide students an opportunity to learn from the outside world, Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School organized an educational field trip to Nehru Zoological Park for the students of LKG and UKG on 22/08/17.
This trip gave the students a chance to explore the world of animals and birds, their habitat as well as their eating habits. The open enclosures and the sheer variety of animals fascinated the students to no end.
The students had a gala time with their friends and teachers. They had their lunch at the Zoological Park and enjoyed the natural bliss.
To bring forth the different elements of Indian mythology by a myriad of dances, songs, shlokas and stories, the students of U.K.G E and F presented their Parent Day on the theme ‘The Scholarly Mythos’ on 19th August, 2017 at Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School.

Welcome dance to the tune of ‘Aigiri Nandini’ made the traditional feel linger all around. Speeches and poems on Indian Mythology and Red Colour gave an insight into the theme. Rama Charitam, a musical dance drama was an outstanding performance which deserves a special mention. It portrayed the “Victory of good over evil”. Dances to the tunes of ‘Jai Ho Jai Ganesh” and ‘Govinda Bolo Hare’ were breath-taking. Narration of Ramayana by Hiranmayi from U.K.G – F was the highlight of the programme. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Akshita from U.K.G – F.
Janmastami, the birth of Lord Sri Krishna was celebrated at Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School on 11th August in the school premises.
The Principal, Ms.M.Varalakshmi and the Academic Director, Ms.G.Sreedevi graced the occasion with their presence. The programme commenced with a prayer song followed by a speech by Ms.Arnavi Pillai of U.K.G-G high lighting the childhood deeds of Sri.Krishna.
Shlokas were beautifully recited by Ms.Abhijna of L.K.G – A and a skit on ‘Govardhan Giridhari’ won the soul of the spectators. This skit conveyed a strong message “Never be arrogant, instead stay humble forever”. The little Krishnas and Gopikas presented a beautiful dance to the tune of Govinda Bolo Hare. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Going for a walk, healthy diet, disciplined lifestyle and positive thinking all these are healthy habits. It is always wise to start and imbibe good habits as early as possible. Keeping this in mind, Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated “Health Week” from 7th August to 11th August, where young (LKG) children went on a school rally. They went with the slogans like- DON’T SIT TO BE FIT, EAT HEALTHY FEEL HEALTHY, EAT BETTER LIVE BETTER, SMILE AND BE HEALTHY, PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE and STAY HAPPY STAY HEALTHY etc. Students also had special talk on Wellness Bin in the assembly. On this occasion, a group of dentists had come for a dental check up to diagnose common oral problems like cavities, tooth decay and cold sores.
