Special assembly for Diwali was conducted in Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School on 5th November, 2015. The programme commenced with a song on Goddess Lakshmi.
Children from LKG and UKG spoke about the importance of the festival. This was followed by a song on “Diwali ayi re” sung by Master Ram from UKG-A which was truly melodious and it captivated the audience.
The colourful PowerPoint Presentation on “Safe Diwali” by A.Anagha from UKG-C enlightened the audience as to how to celebrate a safe Diwali. This was followed by talent show where Aaradhya from UKG-C was asked to spell a few words and also guess the word when it was spelt. She did a wonderful job. Last but not the least, dance on Diwali was fabulous and enjoyed by everyone.
The programme came to an end with a dance performed by the teachers for the coming up “Children’s Day”.
The Principal, Ms.M.Varalakshmi, Kindergarten & Primary Headmistress, Ms.Sonia Nagpal and parents of the participants graced the occasion.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Raksha Bandhan as a part of Special Assembly on 27th August, 2015. Students of LKG-D performed on this occasion. The dance depicted the everlasting bond of love between brothers and sisters. The students were made aware that this festival is a tradition that is followed everywhere where sisters tie Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers. The programme came to an end with a PPT presentation where the importance of the festival was shown to the students.
The Jubilee Hills Public School conducted the Investiture Ceremony in the school premises on 4th July, 2015. The tiny tots from Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School took an active participation in the ceremony. The Head boy of JHKS Master Arul Ghosh and the Head girl Miss Ammi Reddy Nivrithi were happy when they were pinned the badges by the Chief Guest Sri. Jitender, IPS.
Mr.Jitender congratulated all the students and wished them to become true leaders. Chairman Sri. A. Murali Mukund, Principal, Ms.Varalakshmi and Academic Director, Ms.G.Sreedevi appreciated the student council members and NCC students who performed the March Past. Last but not the least the Head boy of JHKS, Master Arul Ghosh shared his happiness and views about being a part of the school council. The day ended by everyone including the Chief Guest and other Dignitaries praising the students who were participants in the cultural programmes. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Primary Head girl Preksha Godey.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 11th September, 2015 as a part of special assembly. The programme started with the pooja of Lord Ganesha. Children danced to the famous tune of ‘Gaga Gaga Ganapathi’ dance, which made the audience clap and tap their feet according to the music and encourage them. Student from LKG-G, Ramona Singh gave a speech on the birth of Lord Ganesha. Followed by yet another dance performance by the children on ‘deva oh deva, ganapathi deva’.
Children were shown a cartoon story of Lord Ganesha, where it depicted how the lord got an elephant head. The children were very happy to see the short film followed by a famous cartoon song cum dance on ‘Jai, Jai, Ganesha’ and ‘Shiv shambu ka damuru bola’ Children also danced praising the lord.
The Chairman Mr.A.Murali Mukund, Academic Director, Ms.G.Sree Devi and Senior Headmistress, Ms.G.Durga graced the occasion and witnessed the show. The chairman appreciated the children’s enthusiasm and confidence in putting up such wonderful dance shows. He also appreciated the students saying they were a very disciplined audience. He wished the teachers and children a happy Ganesh Chaturthi.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Janmashtami on 3rd September 2015. The Principal Ms. M.Varalakshmi graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. She in her speech appreciated the performers for their spectacular show, the teachers for training the students and the parents for their active participation in dressing up their children like little krishnas and gopikas for the special assembly programme.
The programmed started with a dance performance ‘Govind bolo, Hari gopala bolo’. Little gopikas mesmerized the audience with their energetic and beautiful dance performance. This was followed with other programmes like ramp walk by little Krishnas and Gopikas, song on ‘ala re ala’ dance on ‘mayya yashoda’ and ‘vo kisna hai’ and a speech on the importance of Janmashtami. The programme came to an end where all the students recited the poem on ‘cheta venna mudda’.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School conducted Special Assembly for Dassera on 9th October, 2015. The programme started with a talk on the significance of Dassera festival given by Miss.Siya of LKG-F and Master.K.Ram Varma of UKG-A. This was followed by a prayer song ‘Aiy Giri Nandini’ by the students.
Students of UKG performed ‘Bathukamma’ a traditional dance of Telangana and students of LKG performed ‘Dandiya’. The programme concluded with the children watching and enjoying a video on Dassera.
The Principal, Ms.M.Varalakshmi, Academic Director Ms.G.Sree Devi and Primary and Pre primary Headmistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion.
