Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Dusshera Special Assembly on 16th September 2016. The programme commenced with a prayer song ‘Aiyi giri nandini’ by the children. A few children spoke about the importance of Dusshera. The tiny tots mesmerized the audience with their dance performances to the tunes of “Rama Rama”, “Dandiya” and “Durga Durga Durgati Nashini”. The highlight of the programme was of course a skit “Mahishasura Mardini”. Pre-Primary and Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal appreciated the teachers and students for putting up a wonderful programme. The Pre-Primary and Primary Head Mistress, Ms. Sonia Nagpal and Pre-Primary Coordinator Ms. C. Srilatha graced the occasion. Ms. Saanvi Garg proposed the vote of thanks.
Grandparents are our heritage and are essential members of our families and community. In order to honour grandparents, Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School organized an event, ‘Pranaam’ especially to pay reverence to them. This was organized in the school premises on 27th August 2016.
The programme commenced with a prayer song. The Pre-Primary and Primary Headmistress, Ms. Sonia Nagpal welcomed the gathering. In her speech she said that today is the day where we honour, appreciate and acknowledge the contribution of the grandparents in the grandchildrens’ life. The grandparents with their exemplary behavior and unconditional love instill moral values in their grand children. She added that children of JHKS have come up with a small programme to appreciate the grandparents for the big things they do. Saanvi Khandelia, Head Girl of JHKS gave the welcome speech.
The programme began with a poem “Grandma, Grandpa” followed by a song on grandparents. This was followed by speech for grandparents by Ms. Mishika Dugar Of LKG A and Ms Saanvi Garg from UKG A. Cultural events like, Western Dance, Folk Dance, Rajasthani Dance, Tribal Dance and a skit on “Dhruv Nakshatra” mesmerized the audience.
The Academic Director Ms. G. Sree Devi, in her speech appreciated the grandparents for taking out time and attending the programme. She also suggested them to play a major role to inculcate moral values in their grand children, which is missing in present days.
The Chairman Sri. A. Murali Mukund, in his address said that the grandparents should be happy to see their grand children sing, act and dance with great energy level. Now a days most of the time children are found with electronic gadgets. He said, the grandparents should take initiative to keep children away from the gadgets.
A photo gallery of students photos with their grandparents was displayed and added flavour to the entire programme. Few grandparents shared their experiences and appreciated the management for conducting this programme exclusively for them. The Head Boy Master Pransh Rustogy proposed the vote of thanks.
A sterling show “The Creation” was presented by the students of UKG E & F on 3rd September 2016. The Chairman, Shri A.Murali Mukund, the Academic Director, Ms. G. Sreedevi, the Academic Co-ordinator, Ms. Suneetha Roopchand, the Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion.
The programme commenced with a prayer song followed by a welcome address by the Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal. In her speech she said that we at JHKS arouse curiosity and creativity in the students by exposing them to nature and various situations. She also cited an example saying that students compare green leaves and dry leaves in the classes and in this process they explore the texture and appearance of the leaves. She added, this year science experiments have become a part of the curriculum to enhance the reasoning and questioning skills in students. Along with academic progress we also look at the overall development of the students, therefore each one of them participates in Parent Days.
Welcome speech was given by Ms. Adrija, a student of UKG F followed by a welcome dance by our tiny tots. Speech on nature by Ms. Shreyas was informative. The students showcased themselves as various trees, spoke about them, this was followed by ‘Tree-Depiction’. Later the students presented a heart touching skit ‘Rainbow Fish’ on sharing and friendship .
Green Colour Day was also celebrated. The students danced on the song “Go Green” followed by a speech on Colour Green by Master Pransh Rustogy. The dance on Ganesha enthralled the audience.
The Academic Director, Ms. G. Sreedevi in her speech said that it is a reward for the parents to see their kids perform on the stage with confidence. She appreciated the effort put in by teachers and the cooperation extended by the parents to put up a successful show.
The Chairman, Shri A.Murali Mukund said he enjoys each and every programme put up by Kindergarten kids and also praised the teachers for their hard work. Parents shared their views and appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers. Ms. Yashita proposed the vote of thanks.

Sree Devi, Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal and Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms. Srilatha graced the occasion.
The programme commenced with a prayer song followed by a speech on Eco- Friendly Ganesha and the pooja ritual. Dance performance on the song ‘Guru Vandana & Ganesha Vandana’ mesmerized the audience.The programme continued with “Ganesha song” followed by a story narration on birth of “Lord Ganesha” by Master Gagan and Master Akhilesh.The highlight of the programme was of course, a captivating dance performance on “Lord Ganesha”. The Chairman, Shri A.Murali Mukund appreciated the efforts put in by the Pre-Primary students.
