Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated ‘The Kaleidoscope’, Parent Day of LKG E & F on 31st December 2016 in the school premises. The Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, the Academic Co-ordinator Ms. Suneetha Roopchand, and Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion.
The event commenced with an auspicious prayer song ‘Jai Ganesha’ sung by the LKG students. This was followed by a welcome address by Ms. Sonia Nagpal. who said, that we at JHKS believe parents have an equal role to play in the students’ education and progress as the school. She added that the school introduces new ideas such as involving parents in story telling activities to emphasize more on Parent – Teacher – Student relationship.
Master Rutham of LKG F welcomed the gathering, this was followed by a video which showed how art is connected with emotions and feelings. The audience was mesmerized by the dance performance to the tunes ‘Swagath hai aap ka’ and ‘Barbie’. Ms. Sahana from LKG E spoke on the significance of Art. The spontaneous artwork done by the students was praise worthy. The journey of the newspaper was well depicted by Ms. Prachi from LKG F. The speech on colour pink given by Master Pradyun of LKG E was informative. The programme concluded with a fascinating Umbrella Dance.
The Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund appreciated the performances and wished the parents ‘A Happy New Year’. Parents shared their views and were very happy to see their kids perform on the stage confidently. Ms. Akshita from LKG E proposed the vote of thanks.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Christmas on 23rd December, 2016. The Chairman, Sri A.Murali Mukund, the Academic Director, Ms.G. Sree Devi, the Academic Co-ordinator, Ms. Suneetha Roopchand and Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress, Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion. The venue was decorated with a Christmas tree, stars, streamers and balloons. The show commenced with ‘Christmas Carols’ sung by our tiny tots followed by a welcome speech by Darshil from UKG-C. The kids presented an eye capturing depiction of Jesus Christ’s birth. Taha from UKG-A spoke about the significance of Christmas. The performances to the tunes ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Every Move I Make’ mesmerized the audience. This was followed by a Christmas song. The programme concluded with a graceful Christmas dance.
The Santa, one of our teachers danced with the participants and surprised the students leaving an added flavour to the programme.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated ‘The Unique Touch’ Parent Day of LKG C & D on 17th December 2016 in the school premises. The Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, the Academic Director Ms. G. Sree Devi, and the Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion.
The programme commenced with a prayer followed by a welcome address by Ms. Sonia Nagpal who said that we, at JHKS would like to see ‘Parents as partners’, in the learning process of the child. She added that the school introduces new ideas such as involving parents in storytelling to strengthen the teacher – student – parent relationship. Master Karthikeya, a student of LKG – D welcomed the gathering followed by a video, in which the importance of technology in our lives was showcased and the students depicted its impact on our culture and tradition. The audience was mesmerized by the dance performances to the tunes of ‘Made in India’ and ‘Tradition and Technology’. The event continued with a dance to the tune of “Google…Google”.
An experiment using coke and baking soda to inflate a balloon was presented by the students, which added a scientific approach to the programme. ‘Blue colour’ day was also celebrated along with ‘The Unique Touch’. A speech on the colour blue by Ms. Aishika, was informative. The Lambadi dance enthralled the audience.
The Chairman, Sri. A. Murali Mukund, appreciated the performances and said that it brought back memories of his childhood. The Academic Director, Ms. G. Sree Devi in her speech, said that the children showed the importance of a mother’s lap even in this era of technology and requested parents to give them ample time and provide answers to their curious questions. Parents shared their views and were very happy to see their kids perform on stage confidently. Master Ch. Shreyas proposed the vote of thanks.
