‘The Serene World’, a magnificent show was presented by the students of LKG G & H on 28th January 2017. The Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, the Academic Director Ms. G. Sreedevi, and Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion.
The event commenced with an auspicious prayer song ‘Krishna Mana Mohana’ sung by the LKG students. This was followed by a welcome address by Ms. Sonia Nagpal, who said, we at JHKS believe that parents have an equal role to play as much as the teachers in the students’ education and progress as the school. That is why teacher parent collaboration is emphasized more rather than working as individuals. She added that the school introduces new ideas such as involving parents in storytelling sessions to strengthen the bond between Parent – Teacher – Student.
The programme started with a video wherein the students enacted to show how harmony brings peace amongst ourselves. The students of LKG gave a marvelous performance to the tune of “swagatham” followed by a dance on “peace”. Master Advaith from LKG – G gave a speech on the significance of peace.
The audience was mesmerized with the dance performance to the song “My name is Madhavi”. The speech on colour white given by Master Naman was informative. The students rocked the stage by performing chair dance and fusion dance. “ Hind DeshKeNivasi”, song was melodiously sung by the students. Finally a heart touching tribute was given to the Indian Soldiers by our students.The highlight of the programme was the splendid compering done by LKG students Miss Lakshitha Reddy and Miss Aarnavi Pallai.
The Academic Director, Ms. G Sree Devi said that we at JHKS try to inculcate values, ethics and beliefs among children to create better citizens of India. The Chairman, Sri. A. Murali Mukund appreciated the compering done by the children and the confidence exhibited by them while speaking. Parents shared their views and were very happy to see their kids perform on the stage confidently. Master Yathish from LKG H proposed the vote of thanks.
Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School celebrated Makar Sankranti, ‘The Harvest Festival’ on 6th January 2017. Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, the Academic Director, Ms. G. Sree Devi, and Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress Ms. Sonia Nagpal graced the occasion. The programme commenced with a prayer song ‘Ayigiri Nandini’ sung by our tiny tots. The students dramatized the main rituals of Pongal, Bhogi Mantalu, Bhogi Pallu, Bommala Koluvu, Basavanna and Haridasu. The dignitaries of the day performed Pooja. The students spoke about the significance of the festival in English and Telugu. The students were dressed in their traditional attire. The classical note played by Ananya Ram from UKG -F, on the keyboard was melodious. The students mesmerized the audience by dancing to the songs ‘Sankranthi Vachindi’, ‘Patang Patang’ and‘Sankranti Panduga. Ms. Ishita Sahu from LKG-E proposed the vote of thanks.
