Graduation Day 17.03.2017

It was a joyful as well as a poignant day for the Kindergarten family of JHPS. Our graduates are moving on to new accomplishments, taking with them the valuable moments we shared together. ‘Indradhanush’ The Graduation Day of Jubilee Hills Kindergarten School was celebrated on 17th March, 2017.

The event began with an auspicious prayer song ‘Eka Dantaya’. On this occasion, the Pre-Primary Headmistress Ms.Sonia Nagpal addressed the gathering. In her speech, she said that the collaborative effort of the teachers and the parents had borne fruit, which is clearly evident by way of the outstanding performances of students. She added that, students have grown in all aspects be it physical, social or academics. She concluded her speech by thanking all the parents and insisting on continuing the partnership.

The highlight of the event, of course was the students of UKG taking over the show confidently. Their compeering was amazing. The cultural event unfolded with the ‘Shivaya Dance’. The dance performances, ‘Goan Dance’, ‘Samurai Dance’, ‘Ribbon Dance’, ‘Thank You Dance’, ‘Free Style Dance’ and ‘Kavadiattam Dance mesmerized the audience. The skit ‘Trust God’ connected the audience spiritually.

The students in their black graduation gowns received the certificates from the Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, the Managing Committee member, Professor Y.V. Umapati Varma, the Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, the Academic Director Ms. G. Sree Devi, the Pre-Primary & Primary Head Mistress, Ms. Sonia Nagpal and the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms. C. Srilatha.

The Time machine, made by the teachers and students, presenting the year long learning was the special attraction of the event. One student representative from each section enlightened the audience with their speeches about the theme.
Last but not the least, The Academic Director, Ms. G. Sree Devi, said that ‘Actions speak louder than words’ and as the students grow, the school also grows. She mentioned that reading books was added to the curriculum of the school from classes 1 to X. She also suggested the parents to inculcate reading habits in their children. Master Pransh Rustogi from UKG-E proposed the vote of thanks.
