Story narration by Parents is one of the initiatives taken by the Pre-Primary section of Jubilee Hills Public School.
The parents from LKG and UKG were called on 27th ,28th and 29th August and 3rd September 2019 to narrate unique stories and to make academic learning much easier. The main objective is to make parents as partners in teaching and learning methods at school and to provide an exciting, creative context for learning which can engage all students. Parents have come up with different stories and made the session more interactive with open ended questions. The props used and voice modulation of the parents were a perfect blend which caught the attention of students. It was a wonderful experience for both the parents and the students.
Rhymes help children experience the rhythm of language. As they recite rhymes they learn to speak with animated voices and their imagination is enhanced along with language skills. In order to promote language development, Rhymes Recitation Competition was organised on 13.08.2019 for both LKG and UKG students at Jubilee Hills Public School.. The criteria for the competition was Rhymes recitation only in English with proper action and rhythm. Most of the students took part in the competition with great enthusiasm. Special moments of the competition were also captured in all the sections. The winners were awarded with mementoes and certificates.
