Vana Mahotsav Day

All our wisdom is stored in Trees.

Vanmahotsav is celebrated to inculcate in students the value of preserving our environment. A green celebration to emphasize the importance of trees in an endeavor to nurture a sustainable environment is the tradition of our school. A special assembly to educate the students and celebrate the occasion was conducted on Friday, 12.07.2024.

Vana Mahotsav is an annual one-week tree planting festival celebrated in India. The assembly started with the school prayer. The students of JHPS then took the Vana Mahotsav Pledge in which they vowed to protect and plant trees. There were a few speeches given on the importance of trees and the significance of Vana Mahotsav.

The students of pre-primary classes performed a dance which was immensely loved by all the students.

The students of classes 6, 7 and 8 rendered a melodious song

The students of primary classes performed a wonderful dance.

The vote of thanks was proposed which was followed by the national anthem. It was an inspiring day to all the students.

Tree plantation drive was also conducted wherein NCC cadets actively participated in planting saplings, thus ensuring a greener and healthier environment for future.
