Jubilee Hills Public School exhibited a thematic show of skill and talent of each and every student of Class V on 6th July. Through this programme ‘Nadiya-Hamara Astitv’ we focus on each child’s holistic growth and development. It was woven around a theme-based programme on the journey of famous rivers of India which enlightened the fundamental role of rivers in sustaining life, its unique contributions and enriching cultures. The show started with Prayer Song followed by a Welcome Dance.

Addressing the gathering our Primary Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan stated that our rivers are more than just water bodies, they are the lifelines of our civilization, the source of our culture and the heartbeat of our heritage. Today we come together to honour their significance and cherish their contribution to our lives.

The entire programme was very well anchored in three languages. Children showcased the historical, cultural significance of the rivers, its religious impact on the people, through skits, poems, dances, Nukkad Natak and Dance Drama. The message was that rivers do not only carry water, but also life. They learnt how to respect and protect the rivers ensuring their continuous flow for future generations. The children went an extra mile to make the event a grand success.

The Principal, Ms.P.Kanchana Valli appreciated the efforts put up by the students, teachers and the entire team for a wonderful show.

The Director, Ms.M.Varalakshmi  specified that the main purpose of the event is to create awareness among the students about our heritage, culture and to broaden their horizon. In the process of putting up the show they also incorporate collaborative skills. She stated that rivers which flow from top to bottom of the country unite all of us. We need to create awareness of its significance and the need to protect them.

The parents of Class V were amazed at the exciting and astounding performances of their children. They expressed their gratitude to the management and teachers for giving an opportunity to their children to exhibit such a magnificent theme based show which was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour.
