CLASS-4 PARENT DAY

Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad organized a thematic show ‘Rasas – The Essence of Life’ which exhibited the skill and talent of each and every student of Class IV, on 27th July, 2024. It showcased the school’s commitment to nurture students’ talents and foster a sense of community and collaboration.

The event commenced with a Prayer Song and a Welcome Dance, setting the tone for the morning filled with emotional expressions. The show was centered around different emotions of life, aiming to depict the essence of human emotions through various art forms like skits, dances, dance dramas, and art. The presentations focussed on themes of sympathy, empathy, and understanding. The event was anchored in three languages, showcasing the diversity and inclusivity of the school.

The Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan stated that “Rasas – The Essence of Life” is all about emotions which is an integral part of our cultural heritage, and today, our students will showcase these emotions through their performances. We are delighted to have you with us for exploring and experiencing the depth of human emotions through the various cultural presentations. 

The event was a resounding success, emphasizing the students’ talents, teamwork, and dedication. Through skits, dances, dance dramas and art they highlighted the importance of respecting and understanding each others feelings with a sense of deep connection. It served as a platform for students to learn and express themselves while educating them about the importance of emotions and cultural heritage.

The Director, Ms. M. Varalakshmi in her speech highlighted the need for teachers to exhibit positive emotions like ‘Hasya Rasa’ (humor) and ‘Karuna Rasa’ (compassion) towards students, and also requested parents to show patience and compassion.

Parents were amazed by their children’s performances and expressed their gratitude to the school management for providing such a platform, for putting its efforts in promoting holistic growth and cultural awareness among students.

The Principal, Ms. P. Kanchana Valli, appreciated the hard work, teamwork and performances of both teachers and students.
