Class I Parent Day

Panchabhutas-The Five Elements of Life!

Jubilee Hills Public School organised a stupendous show ‘Prathibha Darshan’ on 21st December, 2024 for students of Class I to showcase the skill and talent of each and every student.  The theme of the programme was ‘Panchabutas-The Five Elements of Life!’ which aimed to emphasise the importance of the five elements of Life-Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space which create a harmonious balance, influencing every aspect of life. The show began with a Prayer Song and Welcome Dance.

The Primary Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan welcomed the gathering and stated that Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Space sustain the world around us. The earth nurtures our strength, water shows adaptability, fire symbolises passion and air is symbolic of wisdom. Students should be aware of these important elements of life.

The entire programme was very well anchored in three languages. Children enthusiastically performed and enlightened the audience through an amalgamation of various speeches, poem and dances symbolising each element. The dances by the tiny tots captivated the audience. The children instilled a deep- rooted appreciation for the elements of life and its importance.  It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour.

The Director, Ms. M. Varalakshmi appreciated the children for putting their heart and soul to make the event lively through their performances. She mentioned that in today’s life, we are missing these five elements and we need to motivate the children to value the ‘Panchabhutas’. The parents and grandparents should try to inculcate such value based learning.

The Principal, Ms. P. Kanchana Valli applauded the astonishing performances and said that this thought provoking theme is very apt for today’s generation where life is full of challenges. Children need to learn from nature to balance their emotions.

The President, Shri. A. Murali Mukund and Vice president, R. Bala Muralikrishna graced the occasion and appreciated the performances.

The parents of Class I were captivated with the incredible performances of their children and thanked the management for giving an opportunity to their children to present their talent through such a wonderous show.
