Class VIII Field Trip

CLASS 8 EXCURSION REPORT (2024-25)

 Jubilee Hills Public School had organised an educational trip to Kerala, Kochi and Munnar during the Dussehra vacation for the students of class 8.  The students enjoyed their tour to Kerala by indulging in various fun filled activities.

Children visited tea Museum which has a miniature tea factory attached to it where visitors are expertly familiarized with the nuances of tea cultivation and processing as well as tea tasting.

The following day children visited Eravikulam National Park, the unique piece of least disturbed grassland which holds the largest viable population of endemic and endangered Nilgiri tahr in the world along with rich and unique floral and faunal wealth.

Later the students embraced themselves with the scenic beauty of The Echo Point, which gave them an unforgettable experience.

Mattupetty Dam enlightened the students on the significance of water conservation and power generation. The evening was fun-filled as the students grooved to some energetic music at DJ night in the hotel.  

Next day, the students headed to Thekkady on road that filled their hearts with joy. The stunning landscapes, green hilly slopes which can be cherished as their wonderful memories. The highlight of the drive is the natural waterfall, that left the  students in awe!! In spice garden, students were given an opportunity to taste  varieties of spices and their importance. The students had a memorable experience of the Periyar lake where they spotted different animals.

The students had an exposure to one of the oldest martial arts , ‘Kalaripayattu’.which combined variety of combat techniques and usage of weapons .

The following day students travelled to Allepy and experienced the boat ride on the back waters of the river. Later the students had a pleasant experience visiting Arabian sea where they enjoyed the cool breeze.

On the fifth and the last day of the trip early in the morning students went to visit the old Church followed by Jewish synagogue and Dutch palace. Finally, students had a splendid experience of going into the cruise on the back waters that left a lasting impression on their minds.

In a nutshell, the trip was both  educational  and fun-filled .It gave the students  unforgettable memories which would forever hold a special place in their hearts.
