The Cyber security and safety seminar conducted by the Hyderabad City Security Services at Jubilee Hills Public School was an informative session for classes 9 and 11 to enlighten them about the perils and hazards of the virtual world.
Ms. Seema Sikri, the Associate Director of Hyderabad City Security Services was the guest speaker of this informative session. She led an engaging and interactive session.
The seminar was filled with thought provoking questions which were answered by interactive students. She had spread awareness on various cybercrimes that hail today in the modern world. She had also emphasized on distinct precautions by using multiple and recent examples making students realize the danger that is hidden in their daily virtual lives.
She had also sparked in interest among the students about the emerging cyber security careers. She gave pointers to students to be aware of the cyber security.
- To make the social media accounts private
- To report cyber crimes.
- Helpline numbers were shared
- A big NO to Trollying and Bullying
- Reiterated the consequences of getting involved in Cybercrime.
- Students were made aware of the punishments.
The workshop ended with the vote of thanks.
