The Pre-Primary Section of JHPS celebrated Primary Colours Day on August 30, 2024
with tremendous excitement and enthusiasm. This day was designed to include learning in a variety of ways as the colours are crucial to learning in pre-primary education. Each class was allotted a colour, and both teachers and students were encouraged to wear that colour to class.
All the classes gathered for the assembly where the whole auditorium was colourful. The students of UKG began the assembly with a prayer. The students were actively involved in learning about the fundamental colours and their significance.
- Red, Blue, and Green action songs were performed by the Nursery, LKG, and UKG. For the students, a variety of exciting activities were planned in their individual classes.
Class Nursery had fun colouring the clown, LKG had fun dabbing the chick colouring sheet with a sponge and UKG had fun creating an image with bubble wrap. The students continued to learn about the primary colours throughout the day as they were developing their creative and fine motor skills through these activities.
